Zelensky after talks with Russia in Abu Dhabi: We managed to discuss many things - 1

The talks between the delegations of Ukraine, the United States and Russia in Abu Dhabi have ended after they discussed the parameters for ending the war, Ukrinform and Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the meeting in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has ended. The two-day trilateral format was held for the first time in a long time. Zelensky stressed: “We managed to discuss many things and it is important that the talks were constructive.“

Zelensky said that military officials have determined a list of issues for discussion at a possible future meeting. He noted that after the meetings held over the past few days, all parties have agreed to report back to their capitals on every aspect of the negotiations and to coordinate further steps with their leaders. “The military has identified a list of issues for a possible next meeting. If there is a desire to move forward - and Ukraine is ready - the next meetings will take place, probably next week. I look forward to the delegation's personal report upon its return,“ he said.

“I am grateful to the UAE and personally to the President of the Emirates for their mediation and willingness to host further meetings. Ukraine is working for peace and security. Thank you to everyone who helps!“, added the Ukrainian president.

The Ukrainian head of state also recalled that the negotiations were held, including with the participation of military representatives from the three countries.

The Ukrainian side was attended by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, Head of Zelensky's Office Kyrylo Budanov and his deputy Serhiy Kyslytsa, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces General Andriy Gnatov, Head of the Presidential Party David Arakhamia and Deputy Head of Military Intelligence Vadim Skibitsky.

The American side was attended by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner, US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, General Alex Grinkevich and Head of the Federal Procurement Service of the US General Services Agency Josh Gruenbaum.

The Russian side was attended by representatives of the military intelligence and the army.
