Greenland insists US must respect "red lines" in dialogue - 1

Greenland's Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfelt stressed the need to find common ground with the United States, specifying that the American side should not cross the borders established by the Greenlandic government, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

Denmark and Greenland reject any territorial claims by President Donald Trump to the largest island on the planet.

„We are striving for a diplomatic solution through negotiations. "I hope that we will reach an agreement and that our key positions will be respected," Motzfelt said at an Arctic conference in the Norwegian city of Tromsø.

Yesterday, Greenland's Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen also expressed hope that the ongoing talks with the United States would yield concrete results.
