Russia launched a massive airstrike overnight against Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities targeting electricity production and distribution, Reuters reported, citing Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmygal.
"Russian criminals launched another massive attack on Ukraine's energy facilities. The attack continues," Shmygal wrote on "Telegram". "Energy workers are ready to begin repair work as soon as the security situation allows," he stressed.
The government has launched emergency power outages across the country, Shmygal added.
