A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing two students at a school in northwest London, BNR reported.
Officers were called to Kingsbury High School in Brent following reports of a 13-year-old boy being stabbed. Police said they were later notified of a second victim, a 12-year-old boy, who was stabbed at the same school. Both children were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The investigation is being led by officers from the Counter Terrorism Unit, but the incident is not being treated as a terrorist act, the Metropolitan Police said.
Following a search, police have arrested a 13-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder. The lead investigator, Luke Williams of the Metropolitan Police, told the media that the weapon believed to have been used in the attacks had been recovered.
The man remains in custody for questioning. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
