From February 3 to 12, US forces struck more than 30 targets in Syria, including weapons depots belonging to the Islamic State, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.
“Central Command forces conducted 10 strikes against more than 30 Islamic State targets in Syria from February 3 to 12 to continue to apply sustained military pressure on the remnants of the terrorist network“, CENTCOM said in a statement.
It noted that the US also used drones to strike “IS infrastructure and weapons depots”.
These strikes were carried out as part of Operation “Hawkeye Strike“, which began on December 19, 2025 in response to the ISIS attack on U.S. forces in Palmyra on December 13, 2025. Two U.S. National Guard soldiers and an American interpreter were killed in the attack. According to Central Command, since the start of the operation, U.S. forces have killed or captured more than 50 ISIS fighters and attacked more than 100 terrorist targets.
