Former US President Barack Obama has stated his belief in the existence of aliens. However, he noted that they are not at Area 51, a military base in Nevada that ufologists believe is a storage facility for crashed UFOs and alien bodies.
„Aliens are real, but I haven't seen them and they're not hidden at Area 51. The underground facility doesn't exist unless there's some huge conspiracy hiding it from the US president,“ Obama said on a podcast by blogger Brian Tyler Cohen.
The so-called „Area 51“ is actually part of the Nevada Test and Training Center at Edwards Air Force Base, located about 80 miles northwest of Las Vegas. The U.S. military officially calls the area Groom Lake (named after a nearby dry salt lake) or Homie Airfield. Access to the area is strictly prohibited, and armed troops guard it.
