Ukraine has classified a car explosion in the Black Sea city of Odessa as a terrorist act, DPA reported, citing a statement from the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), BTA reported.
According to the report, the explosion occurred this morning near a residential building in the southern part of the city.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with injuries. According to the news website "Ukrainska Pravda", the victim is a former soldier.
This is the second car explosion in the city within ten days.
Earlier this month, a 21-year-old car driver died in an explosion. The SSU also classified this incident as a terrorist act.
