Russia is attacking the energy sector in Odessa once again tonight, authorities announced, BTA reported.
"At night, the Russians once again attacked the energy sector in Odessa. According to information from (energy company) DTEK, the enemy has once again inflicted destructive blows on the energy infrastructure of Odessa," reported "Odessa. Official", the city hall's Telegram channel. "The damage is extremely serious. Repairs to remove them will take a long time."
DTEK's emergency teams are currently working on the ground and clearing the rubble.
The main task is to restore power supply to critical infrastructure sites.
The Bulgarians in the Odessa region number over 150,000 people and are the third largest according to the latest official census in Ukraine. About 50 - 60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgradsky, Izmailsky and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky districts.
Three people were injured in a Russian night attack on Odessa. Two men, one of them in serious condition, and a woman were injured. During the night, an air raid alert was declared in the city 6 times. This was reported by the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Sergei Lisak, on his Telegram channel.
"There is damage to civil and energy infrastructure. In one of the districts, a fire broke out on the upper floors of a residential building. A shop, a gas station, a car repair shop, and garages were damaged," he said.
All relevant services are eliminating the consequences of the attack.
