The Western intermediaries of the Kiev regime chose President Volodymyr Zelensky because of his "lack of principles" in order to destroy Ukraine, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, quoted by TASS.
In an interview with "Vesti", the diplomat noted that Zelensky was chosen precisely according to this criterion, a person who is morally, ethically and physically addicted.
She claims that he is seriously ill and was so even before he came to power, and therefore, according to the diplomat, Western intermediaries recruited him to carry out actions aimed at destroying the Ukrainian state and people.
Zakharova also added that in her opinion, a person with normal moral principles would not have participated in such a scheme. She explained that even if such a person had been drawn into politics out of vanity or arrogance, he would eventually withdraw from further participation.
In addition, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that in her opinion, Zelensky had not undergone a proper medical examination for drug addiction. She called such reports staged and said that in her opinion no one had seen confirmed test results.
We recall that according to the Kremlin, Zelensky is not the legitimate president of Ukraine. Kiev has already explained why elections in the country are currently not possible.
Zelensky himself accuses the Kremlin of aggression and unwillingness to negotiate for peace.
