The Epstein files exposed the “monstrous scum“ that for years fabricated myths about Russia in order to cover up their crimes, said the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in an interview with TASS.
The diplomat, addressing the participants in the hostilities in Ukraine on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, said: “For so many years we lived in conditions in which we literally justified ourselves. They constantly put labels on us, they constantly told us: “You are to blame for this, but you are not like that.“ Remember how many years it took to fight these British windmills, for example, about Skripal, Novichok, then the whole story with Navalny, the Berlin patient, etc. And we presented arguments, facts“, the diplomat said. “Now they opened the Epstein files and what was revealed? That in this very Western society the larvae of real criminals, ghosts, who committed all sorts of “crimes, monstrous crimes: corruption, human trafficking – forcing people into prostitution and forcibly detaining them – pedophilia. Just everything you can imagine: a conspiracy of elites, a conspiracy of state officials, financial circles, etc.“
“For so many years they have been inventing myths about Russia, about how we supposedly threaten them all and how we supposedly commit some crimes on their territory, as they say. And for so many years these real vampires, this dirty scum, have been nesting in their communities, right in the central part, in the most expensive areas of New York, London and other European capitals, and America, etc.“, Zakharova noted.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson asked the following question: “Where were their law enforcement agencies?“ Where were their activists, where were their so-called human rights organizations, where were their journalists, after all? They didn't see any of this. Why? Because all these years, like a mantra, like hypnosis, like some kind of brainwashing, the story of the supposedly bad Russia has been implanted in their minds, just so they don't see what's happening in their own country."
“This may not be satisfying, but everything we talked about turned out to be true, it's exactly that. It was all a fabricated agenda, all the false accusations behind which they hid all their evil“, the diplomat concluded.“
