An air ambulance crashed in a dense forest area in eastern India, killing all seven people on board, the Associated Press reported, quoted by News.bg.

The Beechcraft C90 plane lost control minutes after taking off from the city of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand state. The plane was carrying a critically ill patient.

On board were a doctor, a paramedic and two family members of the patient, as well as the pilot and co-pilot.

According to initial information, government officials believe that the plane encountered severe turbulence caused by adverse weather conditions, which led to a loss of control.

A team from the Air Accidents Investigation Bureau has been dispatched to the scene to determine the exact causes of the crash.
