The Daily Telegraph: Investigating whether Andrew used RAF bases to meet Epstein - 1

British Defense Secretary John Healy has called for an internal investigation into reports that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, brother of King Charles III, may have used RAF bases to meet convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, The Daily Telegraph reported.

According to the publication, Healy has told his staff to “make every effort“ to find records of Epstein's flights in the UK over the past 20 years. The newspaper quoted a source at the Ministry of Defence as saying that the department would "relentlessly pursue any information that could shed light on this scandal".

Last week, former UK Prime Minister (2007-2010) Gordon Brown asked the police to investigate such information. He provided six police forces across England with "new and additional information" about the former Prince Andrew's ties to Epstein. According to the newspaper, the former prime minister fears that Mountbatten-Windsor used chartered Royal Air Force flights to transport him to private meetings, including with a financier, unrelated to his work as the UK's special trade representative.

As the newspaper notes, Brown also wants police to question officials from the Ministry of Defence, the Foreign Office, the Department of Transport and the Treasury to establish possible links between those departments and Epstein.
