A drone has hit Kuwait International Airport, the civil aviation authority said, amid Iranian retaliation in the region after the US and Israeli strikes.
“A drone has hit Kuwait International Airport, causing minor injuries to employees and limited material damage to the passenger terminal“, the authorities said in a statement, Reuters reported, quoted by bTV.
A spokesman explained that the competent authorities immediately began to implement approved emergency procedures, and the incident was brought under control and the site was secured.
The authorities said that the situation was under full control by the authorities in the country and that the safety of passengers and workers was the highest priority.
