The goal of the US and Israel is for Iran to disintegrate and be plundered, said today the top Iranian security official - the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, quoted by Iranian state television.
The US and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran yesterday, and Tehran launched retaliatory strikes, Reuters recalls.
"The consequences will be severe if new actions are taken", Larijani said.
He announced that an interim Supreme Council for the governance of Iran would be appointed today following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the attack by the US and Israel.
