A week after the start of the US-Israeli war against Iran, US President Donald Trump said today that there will be no agreement with Tehran unless it “surrenders unconditionally“, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
“After that and after the election of a great and acceptable leader(s), we and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction“, Trump wrote in a post on social networks, adding that they will also work to strengthen the Iranian economy.
Trump told Reuters yesterday that he wants to participate in choosing the next leader of Iran.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that it had launched a new series of strikes against targets in Iran.
The army described today's operation as the “15th wave of strikes“, indicating that the attacks targeted infrastructure linked to the Iranian leadership in Tehran and Isfahan.
