Shiite Hezbollah fighters clashed with a detachment of Israeli commandos who landed in a mountainous area near the town of Nabi Shit in eastern Lebanon, Lebanese television channel LBCI reported.
According to the statement, during the clash, the special forces unit “Radwan“ managed to “repel the enemy attack”.
As a result, the ambushed Israeli troops called off the operation, abandoned their positions, and left.
It is reported that three helicopters participated in the landing.
