At least one person has been killed and ten injured in a Russian strike on an apartment building in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, Agence France-Presse reported, citing a statement from the authorities.
"As a result of the enemy attack, part of a five-story residential building in the Kievsky district of Kharkiv was practically destroyed. A house located nearby was also damaged," the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, wrote on Telegram.
"There is one dead person. Ten other people were injured, including two boys aged 6 and 11 and a girl aged 17," he added.
According to him, about ten people, including a child, are still buried under the rubble and rescue operations are underway.
In addition, the mayor of Chuguev, in the Kharkiv region, wrote on Telegram that two people were injured in an "enemy drone attack" against a house in the city center.
