The White House said that US President Donald Trump "would not be happy" if Russia shares intelligence with Iran in the war, but refrained from any sharp criticism of Moscow, reported Agence France-Presse.
"The president and special envoy Steve Witkoff said that they conveyed a message to Russia that if this is indeed being done, they will not be happy and that they hope that it will not be," White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said at a briefing.
On Friday, the "Washington Post" reported that Moscow has given Tehran classified information, including the location of US warships and aircraft in the region.
