US President Donald Trump said he would like to see people capable of running a country in Iran.
„We would like to see someone there who knows what they're doing. Someone who can build a country“, the US leader told reporters.
He said he had no immediate plans to end the military operation against Iran and believed the Islamic Republic had lost a significant amount of its military potential.
„This doesn't mean we're going to stop right away. The main thing is that we have to win. Win quickly. We're not going to leave until the job is done. And it will happen very quickly,” he said, speaking in Hebron, Kentucky.
“In the last 11 days, our military has virtually destroyed Iran. This is a tough country.“ “They no longer have radar. They no longer have air defenses“, the US president said. He added that the number of missiles and drones launched by Iran had decreased by 90% and 85%, respectively, compared to the beginning of the operation. “We destroyed 58 Navy ships“, the US president added.
