Ynet: Netanyahu asked Zelensky for help against Iranian drones - 1

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for assistance in countering Iranian drones, Ynet news portal reported.

According to journalists, the Israeli request arose in light of Ukraine's extensive experience in intercepting drones and plans for cooperation between Israel and Ukraine on this issue.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk confirmed that the request had been made. However, according to available information, a conversation between Netanyahu and Zelensky has not yet taken place.

On March 14, the chairman of the National Security Committee of the Iranian parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, said that Ukraine risks becoming a legitimate target for Iranian strikes due to its support for Israel with drones and its de facto participation in the conflict. These remarks have already caused a reaction in Ukraine - the politician has been added to the database of the website "Mirotvorets".
