European countries are making a mistake by insisting that Kiev continue military operations against Moscow. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov to the British newspaper Financial Times.
„Unfortunately, the Europeans are focusing all their efforts on persuading the Ukrainians to continue the war. We are convinced that the Europeans are making a mistake regarding their own future“, he said.
Peskov stressed that Russia is achieving success on the battlefield, but is open to a diplomatic solution. „The dynamics on the front are positive for us. We are making progress and are getting closer to achieving our goals. But, as Russian President Vladimir Putin said, we are open to a diplomatic solution“, the Kremlin spokesman noted.
