The Gulf states are increasingly frustrated with the US over the military operation against Iran, Bloomberg reports, citing its sources.
According to them, the countries are secretly questioning US security guarantees and expressing concern about the apparent lack of strategic planning by Washington for the operation.
The rationale for launching the operation by US President Donald Trump and its objectives are also questionable.
In addition, the Gulf states are increasingly uncertain about the wisdom of deploying US military bases on their territory, which effectively makes them targets for strikes.
These countries fear that the American leader may declare victory over The Islamic Republic and the US withdrawal from the conflict without an agreement on the missile program, leaving the countries alone with an “angry Iran“, which would retain partial control over the Strait of Hormuz.
