Later in the day, a Kuwaiti government spokesman said the attacks were carried out by Iran and its supporters.

The war in the Middle East is expanding and Tehran has launched a series of strikes against Israel and Gulf states where US military bases are located.
Israel, in turn, attacked targets of the Iranian-backed Shiite group "Hezbollah" in Lebanon. Yemen's Houthi rebels announced last night that they had fired a salvo of missiles at Israel for the first time since the start of the war against Iran.
