The Iranian president has requested a ceasefire, announced today the American head of state Donald Trump on his own social network "Truth Social", BTA reports.
"The president of the new regime in Iran, far more moderate and significantly more sensible than his predecessors, has just requested a CEASING FIRE from the United States of America!", Trump said.
"We will consider this when the Strait of Hormuz is open, free and clear", the American president added. Until then, the US will continue its strikes and "we will take it back to the Stone Age!!!"
The strikes by the US, Israel and Iran in recent weeks have caused enormous material damage and led to a rise in fuel prices and huge damage to economies around the world.
