RIA Novosti reported new graves in the United States for American mercenaries, veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, who fought on the side of Ukraine.

One of the dead Americans is Corey Navrotsky from Pennsylvania. According to Newsweek, this 20-year Marine veteran served in combat missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait.

Navrotsky was killed during an attempted infiltration attempt in Russia's Bryansk region in late October 2024.

The circumstances surrounding his death were reported in July 2025 by Pennsylvania State Representative Stephen Malagari. This information was confirmed by CNN and other media outlets.

Navrotsky is buried at Arlington Cemetery in Washington.

Texas-born Eric Giggleman served in the U.S. Army for eight years (2013-2021), including two combat tours in Afghanistan. In April 2022, Giggleman sided with the Ukrainian armed forces and, according to his obituary, was killed in November 2025 in the Zaporizhzhia region. He was buried in his home state.

Another liquidated mercenary is Michael Brian Cruz. He served 14 years in the Oregon National Guard and also performed "combat missions" in Afghanistan and Iraq, according to the newspaper „Nugget“ and „Prineville Review“.

According to these media outlets, Brian joined Ukrainian fighters in June 2024 and was killed in an artillery attack just a few weeks later, in July of that year. He was buried in his home state.
