The Islamic Republic of Iran will take management of the Strait of Hormuz to a new level.
This statement was made on behalf of Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, quoted by Iranian state television.
„Iran will take management of the Strait of Hormuz to a new level“, the announcement said.
According to Khamenei, despite the destruction left by enemy strikes and bombings, Iran has won the Persian Gulf War.
Iran considers all parts of the so-called Axis of Resistance, which also includes the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah, the Lebanese group Hezbollah and the Iraqi Shiite fighting groups, as a whole, said Khamenei's message, published on the 40th day since the death of Mojtaba's father, Ali Khamenei, Iran's former supreme leader.
It also stressed the need to overcome the pressure on society caused by the country's resource shortage due to the war in the region.
“We call on the Iranian people to cooperate to relieve the pressure on various sectors of society caused by the resource shortage, which is a natural consequence of the war,“ the message said.
Yesterday, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in good health and is ruling the country.
“He is in good health and is in control of the situation,“ the diplomat said.
In response to a question about why Khamenei has not appeared in public, the deputy foreign minister called for an examination of the current extremely dangerous situation in which the United States "violated all international laws and killed the head of state." Khatibzadeh added that American partners in Israel would not hesitate to "kill anyone."
Earlier, the Times newspaper, citing intelligence information, reported that the supreme leader was receiving treatment and was not participating in decision-making.
