Leaders of Arab and European countries believe that it will take about six months to reach a peace agreement between the US and Iran, Bloomberg reports, citing representatives of the Persian Gulf states familiar with the situation.
The authorities in the Arab and European countries also believe that the ceasefire between the two countries should be extended by another six months.
According to the agency's sources, the Persian Gulf countries believe that Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons has not changed even after the bombings between the US and Israel.
Therefore, they insist that the peace agreement should prohibit Iran from enriching uranium and possessing long-range ballistic missiles.
At the same time, Bloomberg notes, the leaders of the Persian Gulf countries are generally against the resumption of hostilities and want the US to continue diplomatic negotiations with Tehran.
