Iran's Revolutionary Guard and "Hezbollah" have warned that they will keep their "finger on the trigger" during the ceasefire in Lebanon and Iran.
The Revolutionary Guard stressed that both it and the Iranian army have their finger"on the trigger" and are fully prepared to give a strong response to any hostile action by their opponents.
In a statement on the occasion of Iranian Army Day, the Guards emphasized the high level of readiness of the Iranian armed forces, noting that they have already thwarted enemy scenarios aimed at carrying out land and naval operations against Iran.
It added that Iranian forces "will undoubtedly inflict deadly blows and heavy losses on the enemies," and warned that a possible confrontation would end in a "humiliating and strategic defeat" for the opponents.
"Hezbollah" also said it would be "ready to defend itself against treachery from the enemy", considering possible ceasefire violations by Israel.
The warnings come as Iran and the United States are poised to resume talks aimed at ending the regional war, mediated by Pakistan.
Iran has reportedly set conditions for a possible agreement and reiterated that it will not give up on these demands while continuing the talks in a state of heightened military alert.
