Russian strikes overnight damaged port infrastructure in Odessa region and an energy facility, leaving about 380,000 consumers in the north of the country without power, officials said, quoted by Ukrinform, BTA reported.

According to the head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, on Telegram, quoted by Reuters, drones hit warehouses for agricultural produce, depots and administrative buildings. There were no initial reports of casualties.

Russia has attacked an energy facility in the northern Chernihiv region, the local electricity distribution network operator said.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a total of 219 long-range drones overnight.

Earlier today, Russian authorities reported that a Ukrainian drone had caused a fire at an oil depot in the Russian-annexed city of Sevastopol.

One person was injured, and port infrastructure and industrial facilities in the Odessa region were damaged in a nighttime drone attack, the head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, said.

"Administrative buildings, agricultural warehouses, buses and tanks were damaged. As a result of falling debris from drones, fires broke out, which were extinguished by rescuers," Kiper pointed out.

All competent services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

The Bulgarians in the Odessa region number over 150 thousand people and are the third largest according to the latest official census in Ukraine. About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dnestr regions.
