A 16-year-old boy was killed in an attack on the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Dmytro Bryzhinsky, said today, quoted by Agence France-Presse, BTA reported.

"One person was killed: a 16-year-old boy" and "four people were injured: three women and one man", Brzezinski wrote on the social app "Telegram".

Seven houses and two public buildings were also reported to have suffered material damage.

The energy infrastructure of Chernihiv has suffered serious damage this week, leaving thousands of people without electricity, according to local authorities.

On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, 19 people were killed in strikes in Ukraine.

Negotiations between Moscow and Kiev to end the war have been at an impasse since the start of the war in the Middle East, which began in late February with the start of the Israeli-American military operation against Iran, with Washington's attention diverted, notes Agence France-Presse.
