Trump says Iran committed 'serious violation of ceasefire - 1

US President Donald Trump said Iran committed a “serious violation“ of the ceasefire, but added that he still believes a peace deal can be reached, Reuters reported, citing an article in Ex by an “ABC News“ reporter, BTA reported.

“It will happen. One way or another. The easy way or the hard way. It will happen. You can quote me“, Trump said in a conversation with the reporter.

The US president also wrote in a post on Truth Social that US representatives will arrive in Islamabad “tomorrow night“ for talks with Iran.

“We are offering a very fair and reasonable deal and I I hope they accept it, because if they don't, the United States will destroy every single power plant and every single bridge in Iran," Trump said.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said earlier on Monday that both Iran and the United States were willing to continue talks to end the war, Reuters reported.

Telling reporters at the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, southwestern Turkey, Fidan said that although talks between Washington and Iran were largely over, there were still a number of disagreements. He added that the ceasefire, which expires next week, should be extended.
