The Iranian military is ready to teach the US and Israel a “harsh lesson“ if they strike the country during the ceasefire, said a spokesman for the Central Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces "Khatam al-Anbiya", reported the Tasnim news agency.
He noted that the military is on 100% combat readiness.
“In the event of aggression or any action against Iran, they will immediately strike a powerful blow against predetermined targets and will teach the US and Israel another, harsher lesson than before“, the spokesman said.
A day earlier, on April 21, US President Donald Trump announced that has ordered an extension of the ceasefire with Iran. He claims that the Pakistani leadership convinced him to do so. Tehran also stressed that it did not ask Washington to extend the ceasefire.
"Khatam al-Anbiya (from Arabic: خاتم الأنبياء – Khatam al-Anbiya) literally means “Seal of the Prophets“. It is a title used in Islam for the Prophet Muhammad, designating him as the last of the divine ones.
The “Khatam al-Anbiya“ Central Headquarters (KCHQ) is the highest operational command body of the Iranian armed forces. It plans and coordinates joint operations between the regular army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Its current commander is Major General Ali Abdollahi. His predecessor, Gholam Ali Rashid, was killed in an Israeli strike in June 2025.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters (GHORB) is a huge engineering and economic conglomerate owned by the IRGC. It is involved in large-scale infrastructure projects - construction of roads, dams, oil and gas facilities, as well as in the country's nuclear and missile programs.
It is believed to control a significant part of the Iranian economy and serves as a tool for circumventing international sanctions.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Headquarters is a specialized structure responsible for protecting Iranian airspace.
