Russian troops are regrouping and attracting reserves to the front. This may be a sign of preparation for a new offensive, a statement by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Sirsky, reported RBC-Ukraine, quoted by Focus.
During a working visit, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine met with Major General Oleg Apostol and discussed with him the operational situation, the implementation of tasks and future plans.
Sirsky paid special attention to the Pokrovskoye direction, where Russian troops are exerting the strongest pressure. According to him, 688 attacks have been registered there since the beginning of April.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also held meetings at the headquarters of the units, listened to reports from the commanders on the situation at the front, the needs of the military and ways to increase the effectiveness of the defense.
Based on the results, a decision was made to additionally supply the Ukrainian units.
In addition, Sirsky visited the Unmanned Systems Forces group and discussed a number of issues with Major Robert "Magyar" Brovdy.
"When the enemy regroups and attracts reserves, the role of the UAS in inflicting defeats on the occupiers increases even more", he emphasized.
