US President Donald Trump criticized the journalist Candace Owens, calling her the “most disgusting person of the year“, styling the publication to resemble the cover of the American magazine Time.
She claimed that the wife of the French President, Brigitte Macron, was “born a man“.
“Her attacks on the first lady of France are disgusting. I guess Owens has an extremely low IQ!, wrote the American leader on Truth Social.
He attached a photo of the journalist on a fake Time cover, which included the captions “Candice Owens lies, lies, lies“, “defends rapists“ and other comments about her.
The journalist was actively recording videos in which she claimed that Brigitte Macron was actually “born a man“. Since March 2024, she has been spreading this information in the United States, later catapulting her to worldwide fame with a series of videos entitled “Becoming Brigitte“. Owens' YouTube channel currently has nearly 6 million subscribers.
