China opposes the inclusion of Chinese companies in the EU's 20th package of anti-Russian sanctions and calls for their removal from the list, China's Ministry of Commerce said on Saturday.
The European Union has added six Chinese companies to the list as part of the 20th package of sanctions against Russia.
“The EU, ignoring China's repeated statements and objections, has brazenly included Chinese companies in the 20th package of anti-Russian sanctions. China expresses strong dissatisfaction and resolutely opposes this“, the ministry said in a statement.
The Chinese ministry noted that China calls on the EU to immediately remove its companies and individuals from the sanctions list.
