Iranian oil pipelines could explode in about three days if the US naval blockade of the Islamic Republic continues, US President Donald Trump said.
The American leader stressed that large volumes of oil are flowing through Iranian pipelines. "And if for some reason this line is closed because it can't be loaded into storage facilities or onto ships, which is what's happening to them because they don't have ships because of the blockade, then this line will blow up from the inside," he said in an interview with Fox News.
Trump noted that Iran "has about three days before that happens."
According to the US president, if that happens, Iran could lose half of its oil production capacity.
