Trump invited the guests to express who their favorite is - Vance or Secretary of State Rubio.
After applause for the two candidates, Trump called them a “dream team”, without specifying which of them he sees as president and which as vice president. "Sounds great for the ballot: JD and Marco. Perfect candidates. By the way, I believe it's a dream team, but there are some small details," the American leader said, without specifying what he meant.
Republicans will have to choose a new presidential candidate before the November 2028 elections, since Trump, according to the US Constitution, cannot run for a presidential term. Previously, he said that among the Republicans there is a "good bench" of candidates to succeed him. Among the possible candidates, the head of state named members of his cabinet: Vance, Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and former Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem.
