US President Donald Trump plans to mainly discuss bilateral trade and economic relations with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his upcoming state visit to Beijing.
“I would say we'll be talking about trade more than anything else”, he told reporters at the White House before leaving for China.
“We have a great relationship with China. We're two superpowers. We're the most powerful countries in the world in terms of military power. China is considered the second most powerful country in the world. Who knows, who knows?“, the US leader continued. “I have a great relationship with President Xi. And I think they will remain that way,” Trump added.
His schedule for his visit to China is scheduled for May 13-15. The visit was originally scheduled for March 31-April 2. However, it was postponed due to the war between the US and Israel against Iran on February 28. The US administration expects the Chinese president to visit the United States later this year. The US president confirmed this during his recent press conference.
