Volodymyr Zelensky: Another cynical and vile Russian strike! Victims in Kryvyi Rih are increasing - 1

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today called "cynical and vile" Russia's strike on a shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih, which according to the latest data took the lives of at least six people and injured 91 more, reported Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA.

"An absolutely cynical and vile strike was carried out by the Russians against an ordinary shopping center in Kryvyi Rih", Zelensky wrote in Ex.

Among those injured in the attack are six children, the regional governor of Dnipropetrovsk region Oleksandr Khanzha wrote on Telegram, quoted by Reuters.

"Twenty-one of the injured are in serious condition, including one child," he added.

The official posted footage showing black smoke rising from a large building.

Shops in the affected shopping center are on fire, he reported earlier in Telegram.

Russia has attacked "the largest shopping mall in the city" with drones, said the head of the Kryvyi Rih city military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul.

"The attacking drones struck in two waves – half an hour after the first strike, and the outbreak of the fire was followed by a second strike aimed at the rescue services," said President Zelensky.

"Such attacks are nothing but terrorist acts. And the world must react accordingly – with real pressure on the aggressor," he added.

Footage released by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine shows the devastated and burning interior of the stricken building.

A video, the authenticity of which has not been confirmed by AFP, shows a drone crashing in broad daylight onto the roof of a building, from which smoke is already rising.

The hometown of Ukrainian President Zelensky has been regularly targeted by Russia.

Meanwhile, authorities in the Belgorod region reported, quoted by TASS, that one woman had been killed and four people wounded in Ukrainian drone attacks in the Russian border region.
