Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense detected 14 Chinese naval ships between 6:00 a.m. Saturday and the same time on Sunday.
In response, Taiwan sent aircraft and naval ships and deployed missile systems.
Since the beginning of the month, Taiwan has recorded 162 incidents of Chinese military aircraft and 289 incidents of Chinese ships. Since September 2020, China has intensified its use of gray zone tactics, gradually increasing the number of military aircraft and naval vessels operating around Taiwan.
