The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) struck the state enterprise "Kombinat Kamensky" in the Russian Rostov region last night, the General Staff of the AFU announced today, quoted by Ukrinform, BTA reported.
„On the night of August 24, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the state federal enterprise "Kombinat Kamensky" in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. A fire was registered at the enterprise,“ the publication on Telegram says.
„Kombinat Kamensky“ is part of the Russian military-industrial complex and produces solid rocket fuel for ammunition for the "Uragan", "Smerch" and "Tornado-S" multiple launch rocket systems, as well as for a number of missile systems and aviation weapons, Ukrinform notes.
The scale of the damage is still being assessed, the Ukrainian General Staff said, adding that operations against key Russian targets are continuing.
On Saturday, Ukrainian forces struck fuel and lubricant storage tanks at the oil terminal in Yeysk, in Russia's Krasnodar Territory.
