The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived on a working visit to Moscow, the Belarusian news agency BelTA reported, quoted by BTA.
He is accompanied by the first female cosmonaut in the country's history, Marina Vasilevska, who was awarded the title of Hero of Belarus earlier today.
Earlier, Lukashenko's press office announced that on April 11 he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the next day they will take part in events on the occasion of Cosmonautics Day, TASS reported. It was noted that during the talks, the leaders of the two countries will touch on issues "requiring consideration at the highest level", the regional and international situation will be discussed, as well as the coordination of actions in response to challenges and threats.
The press service of the Kremlin announced that on April 11, the heads of state will also discuss the implementation of the decisions of the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.
