Former US head of state and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump briefly mentioned last night's Iranian airstrikes on Israel during a rally in Pennsylvania and criticized his opponent in the November election and current US President Joe Biden, Reuters reported, BTA reported.

Israel was bracing for an Iranian response to last week's Damascus consulate strike, after Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Israel "must be punished and will be" for an operation he called equivalent to one on Iranian soil.
