The spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said that she did not remember that the Israeli authorities had ever condemned Ukraine's strikes on Russian territory, TASS reported.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said today that it is extremely concerned about the Iranian strikes on Israel and called on all parties to the conflict to exercise restraint. At the same time, according to him, the tension will remain high until the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is resolved, the "Reuters" agency reported. Russia noted that Tehran said the attack was carried out within its right of self-defense after the Israeli strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which Moscow condemned.
Russia and Iran maintain close strategic relations against the backdrop of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Tehran provides combat drones to the Russian army to attack military and civilian targets on Ukrainian territory. The full-scale war that Russia launched unprovoked against Ukraine in February 2022 is now in its third year.
