The crashed helicopter in which the president of Iran Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, had little or no warning system on. This was announced today by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, quoted by the state TV TRT-Haber, quoted by BTA.
Uraloglu told reporters that because Iran falls under Turkey's emergency response range, authorities checked for a signal from the helicopter after hearing the news that it had crashed.
First we tracked whether the helicopter signaled or not. "Unfortunately, it appeared that the signaling system was turned off or the helicopter did not have that signaling system," he said.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian are among the nine victims of yesterday's helicopter crash in a mountainous region in northwestern Iran.
