Tens of thousands of Iranians flocked early this morning in the center of Tehran to pay their last respects to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who died on Sunday in a helicopter crash, state television reported, quoted by Agence France-Presse, BTA writes.
Crowds have gathered in and around Tehran University, where the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is expected to lead prayers at a memorial service for Raisi, who died at the age of 63, along with seven others, including the foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdolakhian.
