Germany has reached the limit of its ability to provide military aid to Ukraine, but has no intention of stopping it. This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in a TV interview, quoted by TASS.
He pointed out that Germany has provided military aid worth 28 billion euros to Ukraine. According to the words, 7 billion euros is the aid included in the 2024 Budget
Scholz added that Berlin has committed to providing Kiev with the Patriot system, while encouraging other countries to increase their support for Ukraine.
The German chancellor stressed that although Berlin has reached the limit of its capabilities, aid to Kiev will not stop.
Scholz considers the delivery of long-range Taurus missiles problematic, since the German military personnel in this case will have to determine the targets themselves. According to him, this would make Germany a party to the conflict.
