In Kiev, emergency power cuts were introduced in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. The reason is exceeding the limits. This was announced on Facebook by Sergey Kovalenko, executive director of the supplier company Yasno, reports UNIAN.

At the same time, on the morning of June 4, Ukrenergo announced that today the deficit in the energy system is slightly larger than yesterday. The reasons are increased consumption due to the use of air conditioners, cloudiness that hinders the operation of solar plants, as well as a decrease in the volume of electricity imports from European countries.
Electricity consumption restrictions apply in all regions of Ukraine during the day. When the consumption limits are exceeded, oblenergo implements hourly shutdown schedules for industrial and domestic users, the company states.
