Yemen's Houthis announced today that together with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq - a network of Iran-backed groups have carried out two attacks on ships in the Israeli port of Haifa. The Israeli armed forces denied that there had been such attacks, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
„The first attack targeted two ships carrying military equipment in the port of Haifa, and the second targeted a ship that had violated a ban on entering the port,” a Houthi military spokesman said in a televised statement.

The Houthis control the capital Sana'a and many other towns in Yemen. They have been attacking international commercial traffic in the Red Sea since November in support of “Hamas” in his war against Israel. Attacks in the Red Sea have led to retaliatory strikes by the US and Britain since February, Reuters notes.
Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi said the group's joint operations with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq against Israel would intensify.
