Erdogan's cosmic pride! Turkey to send second astronaut on suborbital flight - 1

Turkey will send its second astronaut - Tuva Cihangir - on a space mission today Atasever, who will perform seven experiments in different scientific fields, reported Turkish private television CNN– Turk, quoted by BTA.

This follows the successful flight in January of Alper Geseravdze to the International Space Station. Gezeravdzha's mission, part of a team with his colleagues from Spain, Italy and Sweden, lasted eighteen days, during which he was tasked with carrying out thirteen scientific experiments.

The flight of the Atasever team will be carried out from the “Virgin Galactic“ in New Mexico, USA.

“During the flight, the spacecraft will have a crew of four and two pilots. We will conduct the scientific experiments in microgravity conditions for three minutes, after which we will return to Earth. In this short time, we will conduct seven experiments in fields ranging from human physiology to genetics," Atasever said in an interview with CNN-Turk before the flight.

According to him, for the first time in the world, the way in which the pressure in the cranial box and, accordingly, its reflection on the spinal cord, is affected by high gravity and when moving from conditions of high to conditions of low gravity will be investigated.
